No fun in the sun

Making the most of the fine weather during the summer: Spontaneous trips to the beach, socially distanced beer garden drinks, Family BBQs, getting a decent tan…

But the summer sun can be no fun  – if you have problems with heat and glare through your windows.

With many people still working from home, solar control issues can make life even more difficult. That home office was never really meant to be used all day every day. It may be on the small side, stuffy, and pretty unpleasant when the sun’s belting in.

But for many people the biggest problem can be their conservatory.

Too hot in the conservatory

Summer’s here. Sun is belting down. Time to make the most of your conservatory.

But it’s too hot, and the glare in your eyes is unbearable — basically it’s too uncomfortable to relax and make the most of the weather.

Re-Roofing

Another potential solution is re-roofing. Replacing the glass with other traditional roofing materials that don’t let the light through fixes the problem.
