Mad dogs and Englishmen: Life’s a beach…Posted on - June 1, 2016
According to Noel Coward only mad dogs and englishmen go out in the midday sun. Peter’s dogs are fairly mad but with the sun glaring down the beach definitely seems like the best place to be.
But if you’re stuck in your office (or conservatory for that matter…) you can be trapped in a hot-house and melting. That’s why we turn to man’s best friend – window film. Simple and efficient solution to heat & glare issues.
We think you’ll be eternally grateful 🙂
The dog picture made us think of this – which is sort of weird but , hey…
OK. We admit it. We wanted to do one of our ‘Durable Fim Stars’ things. And this was the best we could come up with. That, and we really love the film! It won 8 Oscars BTW – including Best Picture and Best Director.
Montgomery Clift, Burt Lancaster, Frank Sinatra, Deborah Kerr, Ernest Borgnine, Donna Reed… Proper Film Stars.
This is the bit where Frank Sinatra and Ernest Borgnine are arguing over whether air conditioning or blinds is the best solution to a hot-in-the-barracks-type scenario and Burt Lancaster rushes in to break it up shouting “Noooo! Window Film from Durable!!”.
“Oh Milton I wish we could stay like this for ever”
“Sorry Karen, what did you say? I got distracted. I think I can see Peter’s dogs over there…”
