That’s what Bucks Fizz sang anyway.
But what if you’re not in the kitchen?
And what if you can’t get out (‘cause, like, you have to work there or something)?
You could be in a literally sticky situation.
Luckily, Durable have an equally sticky solution for you.
Too hot in the office
Our customer had a big problem with the sun’s heat coming through a huge all-glass office wall.
They desperately needed to find some way to shade the staff working next to the glass from the intense heat — and, almost as importantly, reduce the overload on their poor office cooling system.
In addition they wanted a film that would reduce the brightness of the sunlight coming through the top panes. The blinds had to be continually pulled down, obscuring the view out.
Instead of one film – two were used.
The top panes where treated with the high-performing film that — incredibly – reduced the brightness of the sun by over 80%.
The lower panes (the ones that the staff look through) where treated with the lighter version of this film.
This still managed to reduce the brightness by over 60%.
But that’s not all…
These films also reduced the heat of the sun coming through the glass by an impressive 40%+.
Who’d have thought putting some sticky film on your windows would have such a massive impact!?

For this track the girls didn’t even need to have their skirts torn off.
Although, given the title, there was probably more cause than when this happened for the euro appearance of “Making your mind up”.

Canned heat — as well as being one of those tracks by Jamiroquai that just gets your feet moving whenever it comes on — was also the name of the band that had hits with “On the road again” and “Let’s work together”.
