Outpatients suffering excessive glare

West Berkshire Community Hospital were having problems with excessive glare from the sun coming through the windows in their Outpatients Reception area.

In summer the issue was particularly bad.

Something had to be done.

Durable were called in to install window film to the problem glass.

Not only did the window film greatly reduce the glare – there was also a big reduction in the heat transferred.

The work was completed on time and on budget – with minimal disruption or inconvenience. 

In fact, far from causing a disturbance, the customer found the whole process fascinating to watch.

Even the slight negative was a positive. The nature of the window film applied does cut out a little of the natural light – but apparently the reflective quality makes it ideal for taking selfies!

So – everyone is happy.
