Tight spaces…

Sometimes you get a job that’s just a bit different.

Buildings can have strange, wonderful, and quirky layouts that mean the glazing in places is a bit out of the ordinary.

One example is this property in greater London which had a large odd shaped roof.

They were experiencing heat gain and glare problems, and the arrangement of the glazed areas made things…. interesting.

We visited the site and quickly decided that the best course of action was to apply an external grade dual-reflective film.

This meant they could get away with a lighter grade film whilst maintaining clarity through the glass 24 hours a day.

Due to the length of the rooflight – and also the odd shape of the glass – installation was a bit tricky.

This was not our first rodeo of course.

Durable have been doing this sort of thing for over 50 years and are the oldest window film company in europe.

The work was carried out swiftly and efficiently – to the delight of the customer – and the end result has massively reduced the heat & glare problems that had previously plagued the building.

Job done. Result.
