Window film. It’s not rocket science…

At Durable we know a lot about history. 

We should — we’ve been around for most of it!

In 1969 when the Apollo 11 space mission was putting Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the Moon the window film industry was in its infancy.

That’s when ‘Durable Solar Control Ltd’ first set up business — over 50 years ago!

We are the oldest window film company in Europe.

The name ‘Durable’ has been synonymous with selling and sticking film on windows for a very long time.

The book ‘The Joy of Sex’ was first published. It coincided nicely with the first coupling of Durable and Solar Gard — and we’ve had a great relationship ever since.

We even received a “Lifetime Achievement ‘ Award from Solar Gard for our unique long standing commitment to window film.
